The second part of ‘Prey’ may come sooner than expected but with one condition

There is no doubt that with “Prey”, 20th Century Studios had one of the most successful and unexpected premieres within the “Predator” franchise. With such numbers, fans wondered if there would be a second part, and it looks like the sequel will be reality, but on one condition.

According to “Prey” star Amber Midthunder in an interview for uh (through Vandal), thinks the sequel to the sci-fi action movie may come sooner than expected. Following its premiere on Hulu, Disney + and Star +, Dan Trachtenberg’s film continues to add millions of views worldwide.

The young actress says: “I don’t know what the plans are for the future, but I trust whatever decision is made.” Also, Midthunder reveals that “Prey” may have a sequel very soonand that in 20th Century Studios are already considering what the story of the sequel would be like.

Dan Trachtenberg spent a lot of time developing this with 20th Century. Obviously all that time was used to do something really interesting. I’m sure no one would do anything if it wasn’t fantastic. “

Certainly the sequel is imminent, though there is a condition for ‘Prey 2’, and the idea is “incredible” this justifies a follow up. What remains to be seen is her for the sequel, Amber Midthunder would return in her role as Naru, the warrior who faced the Predator.

A second part of “Prey” may be in progress.

The truth is, at the moment, there is no official confirmation from Disney or Fox that ‘Prey 2’ be a realitybut as can be seen at the end of it, some invading ships arrived after the death of the first Yauja on Earth, seeking revenge against Naru and his tribe.

At the moment, that little animation at the end of “Prey” is all that is known about the sequel, although some believe that the mention of the gun that Danny Glover’s character received at the end of “Predator 2” from one of the alien hunters, could be a connection to be developed in the future.

Without a doubt, there are many possibilities for a “Prey” sequel, from those who want a story set in feudal Japan, to exploring other cultures. For now, we’ll have to wait for 20th Century Studios to confirm their interest in the second part of Naru’s story.
