This was announced by Laps Games and the publisher Iceberg Interactive Land of the Vikings today. This game is a Viking Age city building strategy game in which you will be the Jarl of a new village and have to lead your village to thrive. It looks pretty funny. You will be able to manage resources, decide whether to allow new Vikings to join you or not, help your village survive the harshness of the elements, trade or raid your neighbors and much more.
In Land of the Vikings, players take on the role of the Jarl of a new Viking village. A wise Jarl must manage resources, survive harsh conditions and enemy raids, and lead his fellow Vikings to work together through social conflict. It is up to the players to expand their village into a thriving city. But they are not completely alone; the Norse gods will help players with various bonuses in exchange for their worship.
Fans will be able to try Land of the Vikings in the fourth quarter of 2022 on PC via Steam when the game launches in Early Access. How will you manage your village?
