CJ Entertainment has released a fantastic new trailer for the upcoming Korean sci-fi action movie Alienoid. The film blends the genres of science fiction, fantasy and martial arts to offer audiences a wild, fun and unique action movie.
This trailer is for the first of a two part film that I am thrilled to see! Here is the synopsis:
For centuries, aliens have locked their prisoners in the bodies of humans. In the year 2022, Guard (Kim Woo-bin) and Thunder live on Earth, managing alien prisoners who have been locked up in the brains of humans. One day, a spaceship appears in the sky above Seoul and police detective Moon (So Ji-sub“Luna”) witnesses a strange sight … Those who pursue alien prisoners locked up in human bodies in the year 2022, and the sorcerers who pursue the legendary Divine Blade in the year 1391 … When the door of time opens, everything gets tangled up!
The films were written and directed by the Korean director Choi Dong Hoon and star Ryu Jun-yeol like a master swordsman, Kim Tae-ri like “a woman who shoots thunder”, Yum Jung-ah, Kim Eui-eung, Lee Ha-neeAnd Jo Woo-jin.
Alienoid The first part has already been released in South Korean cinemas in July. Well Go USA will debut the film in selected US theaters on August 26, 2022.
