A certain character from the previews of “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” attracted attention from the very first minute, and just then we all decided it was: Sauron. And not only that, the fandom turned to the images of the mysterious hooded man until it came to the conclusion that the actor who gave his life was Anson Boon. Now the producer of the series wanted to disprove all theories about it and clarify who is the interpreter of the aforementioned figure yes, it comes from Rhûn, a corner of Middle-earth where Sauron hid for years.
Lindsey Weber, executive producer, did not give details but says fans’ assumptions about what they saw in the promotional pieces are incorrect and clarifies who embodies the character who is said to be Sauron. “We are enjoying all the theories we see on the Internet”Weber says shortly before confirming it the “incredible” Actress Bridie Sisson (“Cowboy Bebop”) is the person we saw wearing a hooded white dress in the trailer. “We also thought that the fans wanted to know that his character travels from the Far East, from the lands of Rhûn …”adds Weber. ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ is aware that it opens with a good handful of fans waiting behind it, followers who thought about it when they chose the time for the first two chapters of the series.
