One of the actors who has had the opportunity to work with both Marvel and DC Comics is Michael Keaton. However, far from what many might imagine, he confesses that he never managed to finish any of the two studies despite being ready to see them.
In a recent interview with Variety, Michael Keaton revealed that he never finished watching anything from Marvel or DC. The actor believes that, although he intends to do so, he ends up prioritizing other things and supplanting the films and series of these two superhero film studios.
Far from wanting to seem the lover of “cool” cinema that often criticizes superhero movies and in particular, to the productions of these two studios which were the first comic book houses; The actor makes it clear that it’s only because his time is sometimes very limited and he has to prioritize other activities or things.
I’ve never seen a full version of any of those movies [Marvel o DC] … I’m not saying I don’t watch it because I’m an intellectual. It’s just that there are very few things I look at. I start watching something and I think it’s great and I watch three episodes, but I have other things to do! to confess.
These revelations of the actor have left many fans very surprised, why Michael Keaton has worked with DC Comics and Marvel in different superhero projects. In the partnership with Warner Bros, the actor starred in Tim Burton’s ‘Batman’; while in the house of ideas he became the antagonist of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man giving life to the Vulture in “Spiderman: Homecoming”.
Michael Keaton will return to DC Comics and possibly Marvel
Despite Michael Keaton confessing that he hasn’t finished watching any DC Comics and Marvel movies or series, the actor is confirmed to return to these cinematic universes … or at least one, while the other is only rumored and nothing certain. .
Actor Michael Keaton will reprise his role as Batman in “The Flash,” the solo film about the fast-paced DC Comics superhero starring Ezra Miller. While, on the other hand, it was rumored that he will also return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the role of The Vulture in one of the Spiderman films or the villains of this superhero, although for now it is not confirmed.
“The Flash” will be released in theaters on July 23, 2023 and will be until then when Michael Keaton returns to the big screen as Batman; if the film is not canceled due to the controversies Ezra Miller starred in throughout 2022.
