Sony continues with its idea of making films about characters from the ‘Spider-Man’ universe. On this occasion, filming began on the new film ‘Madame Web’, which will be directed by SJ Clarkson. Madame Web appears in the “Spider-Man” comics in a rather secondary way. In said comics, Madame Web is an elderly lady who needs some kind of cobweb chair in order to practically live. She is blind, but she has a number of psychic powers that allow her to have other types of visions. Through them she ends up learning about Spider-Man’s secret identity and becoming his ally.. Therefore, it is truly amazing that the one chosen to play this character is Johnson. We imagine that Sony thought of giving the character a rejuvenated look compared to what she had initially presented when we met her..
