Paramount + has released a trailer for Mike judge ‘S. Beavis and Butt-Head revival series! Yes, not only did we get the movie Beavis and Butt-Head make the universewhich was a lot of fun, we will see even more of these ridiculous characters in a new series!
It’s crazy to me that after all these years the crude, crude and silly slackers of the 90s are taking a second wave with a new, modernized version. The series will premiere on August 4, 2022, and here’s the synopsis:
In Beavi by Mike Judgeif Butt-Head, Beavis and Butt-Head are back and dumber than ever.
Created and voiced by writer, producer and director Mike Judge, the characters of Beavis and Butt-Head originated in Judge’s 1992 short film “Frog Baseball,” which aired on MTV’s animated show “Liquid Television.” After MTV commissioned a full character series, “Beavis and Butt-Head” aired for seven seasons from March 8, 1993 to November 28, 1997. The series resumed in 2011 with an eighth season airing on MTV. During its initial run, “Beavis and Butt-Head” received wide critical acclaim for its satirical and ferocious comments on the company. The show’s popularity spawned various related media, including the stage film “Beavis and Butt-Head Do America” in 1996.
Paramount + also hosts the 1996 film Beavis and Butt-Head make America, as well as remastered versions of the classic series, with the full library coming soon. It will be fun to revisit those old episodes. It’s been an eternity since I’ve seen them.
