Netflix has just published a teaser trailer for his next animated adaptation of The chipped cell of Tom ClancyAnd longtime fans have reason to get excited. Presented during the anime in New York, the series is officially entitled Splinter Cell: Deathwatch And it marks the return of one of the most iconic invisible agents of gaming, Sam Fisher.
This new series was developed by Ubisoft Film & Television and will be previewed on Netflix on October 14, 2025. It presents a grilling and old version of Sam Fisher, voiced this time by Liev Schreibertaking over from the voice actor of the longtime series Michael Ironside.
The teaser does not dive deep into history, but the stakes seem to be personal. The official premise gives the tone: “Sam Fisher is pulled back in the field when a young man wounded seeks his help”.
Join Schreiber in the cast of the voice is Janet Varney (Korra’s legend) Like Anna Grimsdottir, Kirby (The sandman) like Zinnia McKenna, e Joel Oulette like thunder. The script of the show is also in good hands, with John Wick Creator Derek Kolstad acting as a writer of the series.
This is a new interpretation of the franchise that does not only make the past supply. It is bringing a stylized and cinematographic approach to Fisher’s world, and with Kolstad behind the wheel, we probably find ourselves for an acute narrative and a smooth action.
Splinter Cell: Deathwatch It is destined to merge the espionage, the action and the drama guided by the character in a way that brings the classic stealth to a new vehicle both for long -standing fans and for the new audience.
