John dinner It could be a fixed appointment in the DC universe as Peacemaker, but this does not mean that it is drawing a hard line between the comic book worlds. In fact, when he was asked of Fan Expo Dallas if he would ever jump at the Marvel cinema universe, dinner said:
“Here is my vision, here’s my hope for the future. Everyone play well in the same sandbox. I would like Iron Man to hold on the hand to Superman. I would like to see all the superheroes on all the platforms be involved in a universe.”
Dinner clearly did not see Marvel Avengers: endgameAnd he is not aware that Iron Man is dead. Nobody will tighten his hand with Iron Man, unless at some point they tear an alternative version of the character from the multiverse. He added:
“So if this happens and I get my desire as a member of the DC[U]I would be essentially walked in the MCU. “
He continued to admit that the final decision is not in his hands.
“I don’t write the controls and I do the parts, so at this moment my answer must be no, but I hope there is a world in which I see all these people passionate about comics and superheroes.
“I hope we can have different debates because it will only give us more stories to tell, and more creativity. And I know that I will punch in the face of the critics for having said it, but my long -term vision is that we can tell stories with characters from both sides of the fence.”
James Gunn, DC Studios’ co-cen and the director of Superman has already float the idea of a crossover, Syaing:
“We talked about a billion times … but I also think people are a little further. I think people want to see good stories with their superheroes and this is what matters. And they want to see different types of stories … just having spider-man and superman team up will not do it if it is shit. So it must come from a real place.”
Who knows if a Marvel/DC crossover will ever happen. It could be nice if they can find a great story, but it’s something we don’t see soon. Do you have ideas for the story you would do!?
