It is not exactly news that Marvel has had an eye on the casting Bryan Cranston (breaking Bad) in the MCU in some way, but a new voice claims to have zeroed the character who want what interprets. While many have Cranston to Fan-Cast as bad comics such as Lex Luthor and Mister Sinister, this role is more on the heroic side.
Industry Scooper @mytimetoshineh is reporting that Cranston is observed for the role of Professor X in the next X-Men Restart.
This is not official, and only because Kevin Feige could be anxious to see Cranston interpret Charles Xavier, this does not mean that he will question or even will take into consideration the idea of lending his talents to the role made iconic by Sir Patrick Stewart.
“I want to interpret an antagonist a more intelligent fraction than the protagonist, he never dampened to give the hero an easy victory,” said Cranston previously, sharing his interest in potentially embarking on an adaptation of comics. “It is frustrating and boring to look at. In reality, that was the character, I admit it. Mr. Sinister was the character I was thinking about.”
After sharing his interest in playing X-Men ’97 Bad, Cranston explained why he has no little or no interest in playing anyone we have already seen on the screen.
“I guess it’s an selfish point of view. I don’t want to make a character that has been done several times before. I don’t want to be compared as” Well, his commissioner Gordon was Yada Yada Yada … “I don’t want to do it. I want to take something that has not been done,” he concluded, making it doubt that it would have been doubt that he would agree to play professor X in the MCU, but not impossible.
It is true that following in Stewart’s footsteps would not be easy for any actor, but if someone were ready for the task, I think Cranston could do it justice.
