After a sixth emotionally heavy episode, The last of us Season 2 is preparing for an ending that promises to open everything. HBO has just dropped the trailer for episode 7, and is full of tension, violence and a little crack that seems inevitable.
We have returned to the ruins of Seattle with Ellie (Beautiful ramsey), Dina (Isabela Merced) and Jesse (Young mazino), who now finds himself in the eyes of a beer storm. The trailer wins no time to clarify that nobody is sure.
While Ellie goes forward on his path of revenge, the trio is captured between the liberation front of militarized Washington and the brutal religious evenings. And from the appearance of it, both factions are quickly closing.
The episode of last week was a more peaceful detour that hit hard, bringing Pedro PascalJoel has returned to a flashback that has unleashed the entire weight of his decisions. That last confession is that “it was the cure. I killed them all to save her”. He reformulated everything between him and Ellie and added even more emotional charge to the end to the ending.
The trailer rests on chaos with Jesse and Ellie Dodging Gunfire, Isaac (Jeffrey Wright) conducting the WLF forces in a potential blood bath, and Ellie linked and captured by the Serefiti. A short heartbreaking shot shows Dina who sets tears to Jesse.
Then there is the rapid flash of Ellie alone on a boat, fighting through the rough seas. For anyone who is familiar with the material of origin, that image is loaded with meaning.
The theater also makes its appearance. Fans of the game will immediately recognize him as the site of one of the most important scenes in history.
With season 3 already confirmed, wait for a cliffhanger.
