We are a few weeks after the long -awaited second season of the dystopian science fiction survival of the HBO, The last of us. This show had so many interesting characters and intertwined stories, everyone is just enthusiastic about seeing what happens in this next chapter.
A prominent episode of season 1 was episode 3, entitled “Long, Long Time”, which takes its name from the beautiful song by Linda Ronstadt. The story followed a survivor named Bill (Nick offetor) and his relationship with Frank (Murray Bartlett) who traces them from their encounter through the rest of their life together.
The fans were really touched by this story and by the beautiful performances of Offetter and Bartlett and the showrunners of the series, Craig Mazin AND Neil DruckmannI took note.
Gamesradar+ reports that Mazin recently faced a press conference, where he explained:
“One thing that I and I talked about was just ensuring that we have not just told: ‘Oh, like the episode of Bill and Frank. The last of us Season 2. ‘
“He only has to happen as happens. But I will say that there is a wonderful episode in the season, directed by Neil, who is different – is not Bill and Frank, but it is, in his own way, his thing, because he had to be and simply wait. Just aspects.”
At the beginning of this month it was reported that Mazin and Druckmann would give the “treatment of Bill and Frank” to Eugene Linden, a minor character of The last part of us II that we really hear about dirotto.
The character will be played by The soprani AND Memento star Joe Pantiliano. Even if we don’t know if Eugene is present in the episode that Mazin mentioned during the press conference, we can expect it to cross paths with Ellie (Beautiful ramsey), Joel (Pedro Pascal) and new character Dina (Isabela Merced) – the latter of which has a close friendship within the game.
The last of us Season 2 in preview on April 13 on HBO and Max.
