A new poster was published for the adaptation of the film by Stephen King’SThe monkey And the marketing team is having fun promoting this horror film.
The poster promises that the Stephen King The adaptation is “Pretty F ** King Funny” for a director’s film Osgood Perkins (Longlegs).
The poster says: “It is a film about the twin brothers who discover a toy monkey who likes to kill their family. There is outrageous violence, shocking madness and unspeakable tragedies. “
King previously said about the film: “You have never seen anything like the monkey. It’s crazy.
Perkins spoke of his opinion on the film saying: “I immediately took a playful horror glorror. It was important for me from the beginning with this project, which would not have been terribly gloomy.
“It would have been more comic and welcoming, that I think it seemed correct for a film on a toy. I wanted to get away from the most serious films on the toys possessed, who do not sound true for me.”
In The monkey“When the twin brothers Hal and Bill discover the old father’s monkey toy to the attic, a series of gruesome dead begins to occur. The brothers decide to throw the monkey away and go on with their lives, growing in pieces over the years.
“But when the mysterious deaths start again, the brothers must meet to find a way to destroy the monkey forever before he takes the life of all those who close them.”
When previously he spoke of the film Perkins said: “It will seem more to you Misery OR Creepshow OR Gremlins OR American werewolf. It could not be less similar Longlegs.“
He continued to say: “For me, if you make a movie about a toy monkey, you can be serious about it. But so much King is fun and nostalgic.
“So we tried to make a film that seemed a little more similar to something from the late 80s to the 90s.” For me, ideally, it is the film that children and their parents want to go together. “
The film is the protagonist Theo James (The white lotus) next to Tatiana Maslany (She–Hulk: Lawyer) ,, Elia Wood (Maniac) ,, Cristiano Convery (Gluttonous) ,, Colin O’Brien (Wonka) ,, Rohan Campbell (Halloween ends) AND Sarah Levy (Schitt’s Creek).
