Marvel’s Spider-Man, Tom Hollandhe seems like a down to earth guy, and he recently told an embarrassing story that I think we can all relate to.
During a recent video interview with GQ Spain, Holland was given a personalized shopping list curated especially for him and an unlimited amount of fake money to use, but could only choose one item from each category.
One of the options that stood out was $43.79 Spider-Man: Homecoming FunkoPop! figure of his young Peter Parker wearing his homemade costume without a mask. Holland said in the interview:
“Funko Pops! I love Funko Pops. $43 dollars, worth every penny. I think they’re really cool. I actually collected all my Funko Pops.
“I had them in the house for a long time, but then it got to the point where it felt like I had a sanctuary all to myself, and I had to get rid of them because it was quite embarrassing. So they’re in a closet, but I love them. Keep making them because I think they’re brilliant.
Of course you would buy all the toys made in your likeness! And I’m sure there are a good number of Marvel stars.
You should own them, because it’s like a crazy dream come true, but you couldn’t even just show them front and center, otherwise you’d just make it weird! Maybe in an arcade among other collectibles or something.
What collectibles would you most like to see yourself caught up in? A movie poster? A Funko Pop!? A Pez dispenser? The possibilities are endless.
