Here’s the trailer for the upcoming horror thriller Popeye Popeye’s Revengewhich sees the iconic spinach-eating sailor as a brutal, cold-blooded killer.
The film is described as a “vulgar and gory slasher” and the synopsis reads: “The legend of Popeye haunts a group of counselors as they plan to open a summer camp.”
The film is directed by William Stead and Steven Murphy plays Popeye. I just can’t watch these ridiculous horror movies, especially ones based on public domain characters.
They are all a waste of time and money. But some people like these movies for some reason. To each his own!
From ITN Studios, Popeye’s Revenge will be released in theaters in January 2025.
