Davide Porto recently took to social media to tease Violent night 2announced almost two years ago. Tommy Wirkola is returning to direct the holiday action thriller and it looks like it’s almost ready to go into production.
Harbor recently posted a photo with Santa Claus and a caption that reads, “Merry Christmas you filthy animals.” But it’s what he has in his hand that tells the story… the complete script Violent night 2.
In Violent night“A team of elite mercenaries breaks into a wealthy family compound on Christmas Eve, taking everyone hostage. But the team isn’t prepared for a surprise fighter: Santa Claus (Harbour) is on the field and about to prove why this Nick is no saint.
Wirkola talked about the sequel last year, saying, “There are things we left on the floor like the North Pole, Mrs. Claus, the elves. But from a story perspective, I think we have a really, really interesting idea that expands the world and the scope while still maintaining that tone that we love from the first one.”
Violent night producer Kelly McCormick previously shared: “But development is going really well and everyone is really, really excited about moving these worlds forward.”
Pat Casey AND Josh Miller he will also return to write the screenplay Violent night 2.
