Peacock released the comedy series titled Laidwhich is about a young woman whose ex-lovers are dying in strange ways.
The synopsis reads: “To her horror, Ruby (Stephanie Hsu) discovers that her former lovers are dying in unusual ways and she must retrace her sexual timeline to confront her past in order to move forward.
Laid is described as a “screwed-up romantic comedy where the answer to the question ‘Why can’t I find love, is there something wrong with me?’ it’s a resounding “Yes.” There is. The problem is definitely you.”
The series was created by Nahnatchka Khan (Always be my maybe, totally killer) AND Sally Bradford McKennawho said: “Please enjoy as Ruby searches for love, along with the help of her best friend AJ who creates Ruby’s sex history so she can track down all her exes – the boys, the girls, the one night stands, the man she only remembers as ‘Green Day Shirt’ – to tell them… they will die. It truly is the love story of our times.”
It’s also in the cast Michele Angarano AND Tommy Martinezand guest star as Finneas O’Connell, Andre Hyland, Olivia Holt, David Denmann, Chloe FinemanAND Giovanni soon.
Laid looks like a fun show! Peacock will release it on December 19, 2024.
