Spoiler alert: If you haven’t watched the first seven episodes of Agata alwaysyou may not want to read on. Now, with that said, let’s get down to business. So far, the series has revealed that the boy presented as a “teenager” (Joe Locke) is actually Billy, the son of Wanda Maximoff, aka Wiccan, and in episode 7 we found out that Aubrey SquareRio Vidal is actually Death.
With this confirmed, fans have been wondering if we will discover a connection to Thanos in this series, as Death was the object of Thanos’ admiration in the comics.
Creator of the series as well WandaVision, Jac Schaefferhe recently spoke to Inverse about the character and his ties to Thanos, stating:
“Thanos is not on my show, so I can’t speak to any connection to Thanos. Thanos is out there, I have no answers for you.
While you can cross Thanos off the list of final cameo predictions, Death won’t remain a complete mystery in the final two episodes. Then we will learn something more about her, as Schaeffer anticipated:
“There will be something more enlightening in our version of Death, but what I will say is that we generally leave some of it up to interpretation on this show. But you’ll understand how it works a little more in the last two episodes.”
Will Rio return for more adventures? Schaeffer’s answer is simple: “As a fan? I hope so.”
While we haven’t heard anything about his connection to Thanos in this series so far, we have gotten several hints that he was in a relationship with Agatha, so it turns out Death is just some sort of heartthrob.
Stay tuned for more MCU news and watch the final two episodes of Agata always this Wednesday night on Disney+.
