Warner Bros. has released the director’s first trailer Bong Joon Ho (Parasite) AND Robert Pattinsonthe science fiction film of Mickey Mouse 17and this movie looks fucking awesome and incredibly fun! This movie looks like it’s going to be great entertainment!
In the film, An Unlikely Hero, Mickey Barnes (Pattinson) finds himself in the extraordinary circumstance of working for an employer who demands maximum commitment to the job… to die, in order to live.”
The film is an adaptation of Edward Ashtonthe novel of Mickey Mouse7and the film also stars Toni Collette, Mark Ruffalo, Steven Yeun, AND Naomi Ackie.
The book description reads: “Martian meets dark matter in Edward Ashton’s sci-fi thriller, in which Mickey7, an ‘expendable’, refuses to let his replacement clone Mickey8 take his place.
“Dying is no fun… but at least it’s living.
“Mickey7 is an Expendable: a disposable employee on a human expedition sent to colonize the ice world of Niflheim. Whenever there’s a mission too dangerous, even suicidal, the crew turns to Mickey.
“After an iteration dies, a new body is regenerated with most of its memories intact. After six deaths, Mickey7 understands the terms of his deal… and why it was the only vacant colonial position when he took it.
“On a fairly routine reconnaissance mission, Mickey7 disappears and is presumed dead. When he returns to the colony base, surprisingly aided by native life, Mickey7’s fate is sealed.
“There’s a new clone, Mickey8, who shows up for Expendable duties. The idea of duplicate Expendables is universally detested, and if they’re caught, they’ll likely be thrown into the protein recycler.
“Mickey7 must keep his double a secret from the rest of the colony. Meanwhile, life on Niflheim is getting worse. The atmosphere is not suitable for humans, food is scarce, and terraforming is going badly.
“The native species are becoming curious about their new neighbors, and that curiosity has Commander Marshall very much feared. Ultimately, the survival of both life forms will depend on Mickey7.

The film will hit the big screen on March 29, 2024. I can’t wait to see it!
