Curzon Films has released a new trailer for its upcoming Korean horror thriller Sleep. This looks like a creepy and intense movie! The movie has received great reviews and I can’t wait to see it.
The story centers on a pregnant wife who becomes concerned about her husband’s sleeping habits, which leads to deeply disturbing behavior.
The film “follows newlyweds Hyun-su (Lee Sun-kyun, Parasite) and Soo-jin (Jung Yu-mi), whose domestic bliss is shattered when Hyun-su begins talking in his sleep, ominously stating, “There’s someone inside.”
“From that night onwards, every time he falls asleep, Hyun-su transforms into someone else, with no memory of what happened the night before. Overwhelmed by the anxiety that he might harm himself or their young family, Soo-jin can barely sleep due to this irrational fear.
“Despite treatment, Hyun-su’s sleepwalking only intensifies, and Soo-jin begins to suspect that her unborn child may be in danger.
Sleep It was written and directed by promising Korean filmmaker Jason Yu and it looks like it will be a disturbing experience. It looks like the kind of horror film that will blow your mind and get under your skin.
The film was first released in Korean cinemas last September. It will be released in UK and US cinemas on September 27.
