Hugh Jackman surprised everyone when he announced that he was coming out of retirement from Wolverine to reprise the role in the film Deadpool and Wolverine.
He had neatly wrapped up his story in the film Loganand he only came back because this film, set in the multiverse, had no impact on the plot.
Fans initially assumed this would be a spontaneous appearance in the role, but according to a new rumor, we could see Jackman return as Wolverine at least a couple more times in the future.

This is not surprising, given the film’s positive reception and huge success (it recently surpassed the $1 billion mark at the worldwide box office), and we’re sure there’s already been at least some talk at Marvel/Disney about developing a direct sequel.
I would love to see Jackman return to the role as long as he is willing, and as long as it makes sense for his character. And more Deadpool and Wolverine antics? Yes, please.
