George R.R. Martin addresses rumors of an ELDEN RING movie in a way that makes you think it’s happening

Elden Ring It’s one of the most popular video games of the moment, and it offers an epic and visually stunning story! It’s only a matter of time before Hollywood ruins it by adapting it into a movie.

There have been rumours that a Elden Ring the film is already in development and George R.R. Martinwho worked on the game, recently addressed these rumors, and did so in a way that makes you think it’s actually happening.

She shared on her blog: “Oh, and about those rumors you may have heard about a movie or TV show based on ELDEN RING… I have nothing to say. Not a word, no, nothing, I don’t know anything, you’ve never heard a breath from me, mama mama mama. What voice?” Right…”

Martin is putting a lot of effort into it. The first hints of a possible film came from creator Hidetaka Miyazaki, who said there was “interest”. He told the Guardian: “I see no reason to deny another interpretation of Elden Ring, a film for example.

“But I don’t think FromSoftware or I have the knowledge or the ability to produce something in a different medium. That’s where a very strong partner would come in.”

If this movie gets made, it will be interesting to see who gets involved in writing and directing. This could be a Lord of the Rings-epic style if done right. But they need an extraordinary creative team to make it happen.

This also needs to be a whole movie series that goes beyond a trilogy. There’s so much damn story to tell! And all that history is fucking fascinating!

The story of Elden Ring begins with the breaking of the Elden Ring, a cosmic artifact that governs the world of Elden Ring and defines its rules. The fragments of the Elden Ring, known as the Great Runes, fall into the hands of demigods who fight for control, giving rise to a war called “The Shattering.” With no victor, an era without a Lord begins.
