Disney’s Live-Action Remake of SNOW WHITE Has Finally Wrapped Production

Disney controversy Snow White the remake has finally concluded production after two long years of filming, with starts and stops. The star of the film, Rachele Zegler (West Side History), angered fans by making comments about the possibility of the film’s story being changed, but nothing official has emerged.

Even when the film was screened for test audiences a couple of months ago, reviews were polarized, with some viewers calling it “fantastic” and others calling it “a disaster.”

So we really have no idea what we’re going to get, but I have a feeling we’ll probably see some footage from the movie at Comic-Con in a few weeks, and we’ll have a better idea.

The story tells of a princess who is saved by seven mining dwarves, Bashful, Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy and Sneezy, who welcome Snow White as part of their family after her wicked queen exiles her to a dangerous forest.

Marco Webb (The Amazing Spider-Man) directs Snow White from a screenplay by Barbie director Greta Gerwig and playwright Erin Cressida Wilson.

The film stars Rachel Zegler as Snow White, Gal Gadot like the Evil Queen, Ansu Kabia in the role of the Hunter, Martin Klebba like Grumpy, and Andrea Burnap as Jonathan.

Snow White will be released in theaters on March 21, 2025.
