New full trailer for ORPHAN BLACK: ECHOES starring Krysten Ritter

AMC Networks has released the first eye-catching trailer for the upcoming series Orphan Black: Echoesset in the same universe as the original series Orphan Black.

The series is the protagonist Kristen Ritter (Jessica Jones), who is also a producer on the project, and it looks like a great show that will take the audience on a thriller journey.

Set in the near future, Orphan Black: Echoes “dives deep into exploring the scientific manipulation of human existence. It follows a group of women as they become intertwined in each other’s lives and embark on an emotional journey, unraveling the mystery of their identities and uncovering a heartbreaking story of love and betrayal.

“Ritter plays Lucy, a woman with an unimaginable origin story, trying to find her place in the world. The series is also the protagonist Keeley Hawes (Bodyguard, it’s a shame, Line of Duty), Amanda Fix (North of normality, high school), Avan Jogia (Now Apocalypse, Zombieland: Double Tap), Rya Kihlstedt (A teacher, a Mississippi) AND James Hiroyuki Liao (Barry, The Abandonment).

Anna Fishko (Pieces of Her, The Society, Fear the Walking Dead) is the creator, writer, showrunner and executive producer of Orphan Black: Echoes with John Fawcettthe co-creator of the original series who also directed 17 episodes across all five seasons, serving as director and executive producer.

The sci-fi thriller premieres Sunday, June 23 at 10pm ET/PT on AMC and BBC AMERICA; available to stream on AMC+. New episodes will air weekly on Sundays at 10pm ET/PT.

Episode 1 – “Pilot” – debuts Sunday, June 23 at 10pm ET/PT on AMC and BBC AMERICA; available to stream on AMC+

When Lucy’s quiet country life is violently interrupted by forces from her past, she must flee to the city with her new chosen family to find answers, only to meet a familiar young woman who asks even more questions.

Episode 2 – “Jules” – debuts Sunday, June 30 at 10pm ET/PT on AMC and BBC AMERICA; available to stream on AMC+

Lucy drags Jules to Settlement House where she enlists Craig’s help in a casual interrogation.

Episode 3 – “Pegasus Girl” – debuts Sunday, July 7 at 10pm ET/PT on AMC and BBC AMERICA; available to stream on AMC+

Jules questions her past, leading Wes on a journey to investigate, while Lucy searches for answers.

Episode 4 – “It’s All Coming Back” – debuts Sunday, July 14 at 10pm ET/PT on AMC and BBC AMERICA; available to stream on AMC+

Lucy and Jules resort to extreme measures to dig into a shared memory that may hold clues to their past.

Episode 5 – “Do I Know You” – debuts Sunday, July 21 at 10pm ET/PT on AMC and BBC AMERICA; available to stream on AMC+
