Daisy Ridley Explains Why Reprising Her Role as Rey Skywalker in the New STAR WARS Movie Is ‘Really Weird’

Margaret Ridley offered some new information about reprising her role as Rey Skywalker in Lucasfilm’s next film Star Wars movie and why it will be “really weird”

Speaking to Total Film, Ridley spoke about returning to the franchise, saying: “I honestly had moments where I thought, ‘I don’t know if I remember what I did.’ [as Rey].””

Ridley added: “It’s really strange. I think everything will feel very different with a completely different team anyway. I’m in a very different situation than I was in. I’ll probably be one of the adults, and initially, I was the youngest person on set , which is a strange feeling.”

I’m sure it will still be a fun and exciting experience for her to be back in action on set filming a new Star Wars movie. With Peaky Blinders Creator Steven Knight writing the script, there is a possibility that this movie could be good.

Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy is directing the film, and speaking about his take on the film, Ridley previously said that the new story is “not what I expected” and “something very special”, and that the whole idea of the film is “beautiful to die”. “

When we talk about making another one Star Wars film without his co-stars, Adam Driver, John Boyega OR Oscar Isaache said: So many things have happened for me [since the Skywalker saga].”

Ridley added: “I feel like an adult now. When I started, I was about 20 years old. I was the youngest on set. It took me the first two Star Wars movies to feel worthy of being there. I’m 30 now. It all seems quite different. I had the chance to work with other directors and, I hope, to improve as an interpreter.”

The film is said to have a title New Jedi Orderwhich will be set fifteen years after the events of The Rise of Skywalker. All we know about the story so far is that Rey will be a “powerful Jedi master” who runs her own training academy.
