Trailer for the Italian racing film RACE FOR GLORY: AUDI VS LANCIA Based on a true story

A trailer has been released for Lionsgate’s racing film, Race for glory: Audi against Lanciahero Riccardo Scamarcio in the role of rally driver Cesare Fiorio, Volker Bruch as racing champion Walter Röhrl, with Katie Clarkson-Hill, Esther Garrel, Giorgio Montanini, Gianmaria Martini, Haley BennettAND Daniel Bruhl like the German engineer Roland Gumpert, founder of the sports car manufacturer Apollo Automobil. In addition to acting, Scamarcio directed, produced and co-wrote the film Philip Bologna AND Stefano Mordini.

The film’s synopsis reads:

Experience the thrill of the road with this action-packed sports drama inspired by true events. Daniel Brühl and Riccardo Scamarcio co-star in a true David versus Goliath story, drawn from sporting history, which highlights the intense rivalry between Germany (Audi) and Italy (Lancia) at the World Rally Championships in 1983. Against all odds, Lancia fights to regain its former glory with an unbeatable combination of bold innovation and extraordinary courage.

This sounds like it could be an interesting story and the cast is pretty good too. Check out the trailer below and watch Race for glory: Audi against Lancia in theaters and on VOD on January 5th.
