The first trailer for the acclaimed French animated science fiction film has been released Mars Express. It really feels like a great movie with a Blade Runner-type sci-fi noir vibe.
The film is set in the year 2200, and in the story, “private detective Aline Ruby and her android partner Carlos Rivera are hired by a wealthy businessman to track down a notorious hacker. On Mars, they descend into the depths of the planet’s capital where they discover a darker story of brain farms, corruption, and a missing girl hiding a secret about all robots that threatens to change the face of the universe.
Mars Express is directed by Jérémie Perin, his first feature film debut. The voice cast includes Lea Drucker, Mathieu Amalric, Daniel Njo Lobe, Maria BouvetAND Sébastien Chassagne.
As a fan of sci-fi movies, I’m actually pretty excited to watch it. GKids will release Mars Express in US theaters in 2024. Watch the trailer!
