Kim, 43, wears her Schiaparelli dress made with 50,000 freshwater pearls. Kim meets Daniel Roseberry, creative director of Schiaparelli, and North makes sure Daniel knows his opinion. North tells Daniel that his mother’s dress could be “a little better.”
Kim says North has notes on the pearls. “The pearls look fake,” North jokes. Kim quickly reminds her daughter that “these pearls are very expensive and real.” North adds, “It looks…beach.”
Daniel admits that this is his “worst nightmare” and feels like he’s been beaten. “I like pearls, but I don’t like them looking like they came from a dollar store,” North told Kim. This is definitely a comment Kim will never forget!
North reveals that her favorite dress from her mom’s Met Gala is her 2019 wet dress, a custom Thierry Mugler look. She north says she wasn’t a fan of Kim’s black Balenciaga dress that covered her entire body. Lei north tells Kim that she felt like she was carrying a “plastic bag and you were suffocating.”
North also doesn’t like Kim’s floral Givenchy dress at the 2013 Met Gala. At the time, Kim was pregnant with North. “I really don’t like it,” she says.
During the test, Kim tells her daughter that “there is a way to be honest and not hurt people’s feelings.” North won’t lie and Kim agrees. “I’m trying to teach him that you shouldn’t meddle and destroy people for no reason. There is a way to tone it down and not hurt people’s feelings,” Kim said in a confessional.
Before the Met Gala, North surprises Kim with a massage. North drives Kim to the Met Gala. “Leaving the hotel with North is really fun. I love that we’re going through this moment and that we can talk about it. She really likes everything. One day, North will be at the Met Gala with his mother! new episodes of The Kardashians debuts Thursday on Hulu.
