Is that an arc reactor that Victor Timely has in his laboratory in the Kang variant in LOKI season 2?

It seems like Marvel is still having fun with its fans when it places props in the background of some of its projects. One of the most exciting moments was in Iron Man when fans noticed Captain America’s shield on Tony Stark’s workstation.

Well, the most recent episode of Loki Season 2 seemed to do something similar, but this time something is noticed in the Kang variant, in Victor Timely’s laboratory in the background. That something looks a lot like an arc reactor, the kind Tony Stark uses to power his armor.

A fan on Reddit reported the prop in Victor Timely’s workshop in Wisconsin. It’s around minute 37:45 in Loki Season 2, Episode 3 and you’ll notice the arc reactor on the left side.

The question is: Did Kang invent this arc reactor or did he pull it from a different timeline? Until now, we know that Howard Stark helped build the arc reactor, and then Tony perfected it and took it to the next level.

I guess there’s a possibility that Victor Timely could have built the technology long before Howard. I don’t know, but another fan on Reddit suggests that this could end up tying into another Kang variant with Iron Lad, who used Iron Man’s armor. This is definitely an interesting theory.

This is the MCU, so anything is really possible here. Regardless, it’s always fun to find stuff like that in Marvel projects. Added Easter eggs are one of the still fun things about Marvel movies.

I should also say that just because something like this is put on the back burner doesn’t mean anything. The art department could have just had some fun, and there’s a big chance that the appearance of this arc reactor will never be mentioned or explained in the future of the MCU.
