Lionsgate has shared a trailer for its upcoming horror thriller Shrieker, which is said to be inspired by true events involving a serial killer. Movie stars Teo Rossi AND Tyrese Gibsonand it seems to tell an intense story full of gnarly blood and gore.
In the film, “When young women begin disappearing in a small town, a police officer and a cunning social worker follow clues to a remote pig farm, where they discover that the local butcher has taken his work home. Enter the world of a serial killer and experience for yourself the chilling horror of a film that will leave you breathless.”
The film comes from a debut director Andy Armstrongand the rest of the cast includes Wes Chatham, Ronnie Gene Blevins, Kate Moennig, Danielle BurgioAND Graham Greene.
The film doesn’t seem to offer anything unique or different, but perhaps there will be some twists. It definitely feels like a brutally violent film, if that’s your thing.
Lionsgate will release the film in select theaters and on VOD starting November 3, 2023.
