IMAX has released a trailer for its upcoming space documentary experience titled Deep sky, and it looks like it’s going to be an amazing experience! The paper focuses on the James Webb Telescope and the incredible deep space photos it took.
I have been fascinated by space my whole life and everything we are currently learning and seeing from the Webb telescope has been mind-blowing and awe-inspiring.
The film comes from the director Nathaniel Kahnthat he made previously My architect, The price of everythingAND The hunt for planet B. “Gaze at the stars tonight, then plan a journey through the cosmos and travel through time with NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope in IMAX.”
Deep Sky brings “the majestic images captured by NASA’s Webb Telescope to IMAX, taking audiences on a journey to the beginning of time and space, to never-before-seen cosmic landscapes, and to newly discovered exoplanets, planets around other stars. “
It follows “the high-stakes global mission to build JWST and launch it into orbit a million miles from Earth, in an effort to answer the questions that have haunted us since the beginning of time: Where did we come from? How did the universe begin? We are alone? 13 billion years in the making, Deep Sky reveals the universe as we’ve never seen it before; immersing audiences in the stunning images beamed back to earth from NASA’s spectacular new telescope and capturing their vast beauty on a scale that can only be experienced on the giant IMAX screen.”
The film is narrated by Michelle Williams and I can’t wait to watch it! IMAX will debut the documentary Deep Sky in select IMAX theaters and museums around the world starting October 20, 2023.
