We recently got our first look at one of two versions of Hugh JackmanIt’s Wolverine inside Deadpool 3 and for the first time as Wolverine, we see Jackman wearing the classic yellow costume! Fans got excited about it and now there’s speculation that this version of Wolverine could be the live-action version of the 90s classic X-Men: The Animated Series.
This is just speculation, but it’s definitely possible! It’s not the first time a character from the X-Men animated series has come to life. Patrick Stewart previously played that universe’s version of Professor X in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. So, the door has been opened for that to happen!
Bringing the live-action counterpart to Wolverine’s version from X-Men: The Animated Series it definitely feels like something behind the creative team Deadpool 3 would do. It’s not hard to imagine a scene with Wolverine lying on a bed looking sadly at a photo. But maybe they just wanted to finally put Jackman in the classic costume.
There really isn’t much to it other than the costume look. But I would love it if Jackman played the animated version of Wolverine and I think the fans would appreciate it too. Do you think this is the case? Do you think the creative team would do that?
It has recently been confirmed that Jennifer garner will return as Elektra in the film and there are reports that several other X-Men characters could appear as Halle Berry like storm, Famke Janssen such as Jean Grey, e James Marden back to playing Cyclops! There are also reports that Ben Affleck will appear in the film as Daredevil and Channing Tatum appearing as Gambit. It was also previously reported that Deadpool 3 will feature more than two variants of Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool and two variants of Wolverine.
The film is directed by Shawn Leviand the film also acts Emma Corrin like the bad guy, Morena Baccarin AND Stefan Kapicic as Vanessa and Colossus, Matthew Macfadyen in an unknown role, Karan Soni as Dopinder, e Leslie Uggams in the role of Al blind. They are united by Brianna Hildebrand AND Shioli Kutsuna he will also return to the franchise as Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Negasonic Teenage Warhead’s girlfriend, Yukio.
Previously speaking of Deadpool 3, Ryan Reynolds said, “Deadpool, to me, is kind of an anxiety inducing tightrope walker. I always think when I get Deadpool right, I speak from experience of Deadpool 1 and 2, that I need to make it better.” 30-40% of what it already is. Even if I’m in the moment I’m like, ‘This is perfect, this moment!’ Then I stop and say, “Okay, this has to be 30% better than it already is. It’s a stressful thing to be right, at least for me.”
I think he and his team will achieve their goal of making a film better than the first two. One thing is for sure, audiences and fans will have a blast watching it!
Deadpool 3 is currently slated for a theatrical release on May 3, 2024.
