Peacock has released a brand new trailer for the series adaptation of the fantastic classic video Twisted metal. This is a crazy red gang style trailer filled with a lot of violence and foul language, which is exactly what we have come to expect from the series! Sounds like this show is going to be a blast and I’m excited to watch it! You can definitely see that the show captures the spirit of the game.
The series follows a motor-mouthed outsider named John Doe (Antonio Macchie), “who is offered a chance at a better life, but only if he can successfully deliver a mysterious package across a post-apocalyptic wasteland. With the help of a trigger-happy car thief, she’ll face savage vehicle-driving marauders and other perils of the open road, including a deranged clown named Sweet Tooth who drives an all-too-familiar ice cream truck. .
The cast also includes Joe Seanoaaka Samoa Joe, who will play the dual role of Sweet Tooth, a character to be voiced by Will Arnet. Sweet Tooth is “a hilarious and terrifying man who is as emotional as he is cunning. A lover of mayhem, this majestic, rage-filled killer dons an ever-smiling clown mask and uses “Lost Vegas” as his personal killing ground, all while driving his infamous doomsday ice cream truck.
The cast also includes Thomas Haden Church, Neve Campbell, Mike Mitchell (Tomorrow’s war, love), Tahj Vaughan (P-Valle), Lou Beatty Jr. (A million little things, NCIS), AND Riccardo Cabral (Mayans MC, American Crime).
