directors Joel AND Ethan Coen they have made many great films together over the years and their cinematic collaboration began with the 1984 neo-noir film Simple blood. Some of their other films include Fargo, The Big Lebowski, No Country for Old Men, True Courageand more.
Since then the two brothers have separated developing projects on their own. It makes sense that they want to take some time off and do some solo projects! In 2021 Joel released The tragedy of Macbeth hero Denzel Washington AND Frances McDormandand Ethan just made a traveling crime comedy called Dolls to drivewhich has yet to be released.
Well, Ethan recently revealed in the recent issue of Empire that he’s developing a new project with Joel, and it’s a priority project that will happen before his next planned coupling with his wife. Tricia Cookewho collaborated with him Drive away the dolls as co-writer and producer.
There’s no information on what the next film will be, but fans are speculating it will be another neo-noir story. Others say it could be their long-awaited adaptation James Dickey’S At the White Sea, which is said to be one of the greatest screenplays ever made in Hollywood. But we’ll just have to wait and see!
I’m just happy that the Coen brothers are teaming up again for a new movie!
