HANNIBAL’s Mads Mikkelsen and Bryan Fuller Begin Production on Horror Film DUST BUNNY

Bryan Fuller AND Mads Mikkelsen have teamed up for a new horror film project titled Dust Bunny, which recently started production in Budapest, Hungary. The two have previously worked together on the Hannibal series and fans are thrilled to see them working together again on this new project.

To celebrate the start of production, Fuller, who is writing and directing the film, shared a selfie of himself and Mikkelsen on Instagram. They look very happy to be reunited and the photo came with the caption: “BACK IN THE SADDLE WITH THIS BOY”.

The story follows an “eight-year-old girl who enlists the help of her scheming neighbor to kill the monster under her bed that she believes has eaten her family.”

Sigourney Weaver he also stars in the film, which will no doubt be a lot of fun! I love the concept of the story and this is going to be an amazing project for everyone involved.

Entertainment One and Thunder Road will co-produce with Fuller producing alongside Thunder Road Basil Iwanyk AND Erica Lee. Lee said in a statement, “We’ve been big fans of Bryan for years. Dust Bunny is incredibly creative and unlike anything on the market and we are thrilled to help bring his first feature film to life.

Maybe one day we’ll see Fuller and Mikkelsen reunite for a revival of Hannibal, which they’ve both wanted to do for years! Mikkelsen recently said, “It’s all about finding him a home. Of course, time is running out. We can’t wait 20 years. But in the next couple of years, if someone finds a home, I think we’re all ready to take it back.”
