Actress Kristen Stewart (Dusk, Spencer) has another project in the works. Aside from the films she’s working on as an actress, Stewart announced last fall that she’s stepping into the directorial seat, making her directorial debut with the adaptation of The chronology of waterbased on the memoir of Lydia Yuknavitch. Imogene Poots (The father, External range) will star in the film and Stewart will adapt the screenplay with Andy Mingo.
Now, Stewart is working on another project, which she revealed in a chat with “The Idol” star Rachel Sennott for Interview Magazine. Stewart said she is currently writing a script for a “girl comedy get high” with her girlfriend Dylan Meyer.
“Dylan and I are writing a film. It’s a stoner girl comedy, and it’s really fucking stupid. I think you will like it. But the reason I thought about it is because our producer is our best friend. We are starting a company. I’ve worked with many people I didn’t know and didn’t like for a long time. It was definitely valuable, but also, fuck it.
Stewart didn’t give any more details about her stoner girl comedy, but it sure looks intriguing! Stewart played a hilarious stoner character Ultra Americanand I think this kind of story is right for him.
Stewart has many projects at the forefront, and this one was just announced, so we’ll keep you posted as it develops.
