AMC has released a teaser trailer for one of the many The Walking Dead spinoffs in development. This is for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixonwhich of course is all about the fan favorite Norman Redus character. There isn’t much footage to share as the show has recently entered production, but it does feature quite a bit of footage, some of which is from the set of the series.
The series is “Set after the series conclusion of TWD, the Reedus-led offshoot finds the zombie apocalypse fan favorite transported across the Atlantic to France and a whole new level of a world gone mad. Poesy will play the female lead Isabelle, a member of a progressive religious group, who joins forces with Daryl on a road trip across France and finds herself confronting her dark past in Paris. Nagaitis plays Quinn, a displaced Brit who rose to power in post-apocalyptic Paris as a black merchant and owner of the Demimonde, a sexy underground nightclub.
The series is also starring Anna Carrier (The last deadly mission), Erik Ebanouey (Fox hunting), Laika Blanc Francard (My night), Louis Puech ScigliuzziAND Romano Levi (The gallery). He is also the protagonist Clémence Poésy (The Essex snake) AND Adam Nagaitis (Chernobyl).
David Zabel will serve as showrunner for the Daryl Dixon series. It is not known when he will be released.
