Focus Features has released the first trailer for My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3. It took 20 years, but My big fat greek wedding now it’s a trilogy. The first two movies were actually good movies that kept the audience entertained, and this upcoming sequel seems to be just as entertaining.
The film was written and directed by the creator of the franchise Nia Vardalos, which also reads. She is joined by John Corbett, Elena Kampouris, Andrew MartinAND Lainie Kazan.
The story follows Fortoula “Toula” Nia Portokalos-Miller of Vardalos as she takes a trip to Greece with her family for a family reunion. It was her late father’s wish to do so and rediscover her roots.
The film is produced by Tom Hanks AND Rita Wilson, who have produced every installment of the franchise. Wilson said in a statement, “It’s exciting to have Oscar-nominated screenwriter Nia Vardalos. Not only in front of the camera as our star, but also behind the camera as our director, leading our beloved cast for this third film shot on location.” in Greece. My Big Fat Greek Wedding has been bringing joy to the public for twenty-one years. I’m so happy that more joy is on the way.”
