Review: GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3 is one of the best Marvel movies ever!

Director James Gunn’S Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is the pinnacle of the Marvel Studios franchise. This movie is hands down one of the best movies they ever made… possibly THE BEST. I just have to watch it a few more times before deciding if it’s true for me or not. As soon as the movie was finished, my first thought was “Good luck to Marvel trying to make a better movie!”

This film is the epic conclusion to the trilogy started by Gunn. This film ends the story he wanted to tell, and he has done it in the most beautiful and incredibly fantastic way! It’s a triumph of storytelling, with the perfect mix of stunningly beautiful action, humor and deep emotional depth. Gunn has previously explained that this film “isn’t about saving the universe—it’s about the Guardians saving themselves,” and you’ll understand why he said that when you watch the film.

Gunn’s masterful direction and vision shine through every frame of this film. One of the central themes of the film is the importance of family and how the team of Guardians have become a surrogate family for one another. As the story unfolds, we see some of the characters grappling with their past traumas and trying to find a sense of belonging and connection between them.

The film especially shines a spotlight on Rocket Raccoon and his tragic past, which involves the film’s villain, the High Revolutionary. The villain is a mad scientist who creates hybrid creatures and Rocket was one of his first experiments. Don’t worry, I won’t spoil anything for you, but this backstory is the saddest thing ever!

The film hit me very emotionally, and there were several times throughout the film where I couldn’t hold back the tears. The film’s character arcs are handled with sensitivity and depth, and fans will appreciate it. The film tugs at the heartstrings, and by the time the film was over, I felt like I just needed a big hug after what I had been through.

Now, while the movie is exciting, it’s also filled with great humor and exciting action! Gunn does a great job balancing humor and heart and there are both moments of levity and laughter, along with moments of deep sadness.

As for the action, it was great! There is one scene in particular that completely blew my mind! A battle sequence involving all of the Guardians, and this is easily the best action sequence in any of the Marvel films that have ever been made. I hope Marvel takes note and starts thinking outside the box and doing incredibly cool and unique and different things with the action scenes because they’re starting to feel a little bland. This movie is right! The action is always driven by the story and emotional arcs of the characters.

The ensemble cast gives unforgettable performances, and each character has their moment to shine. The cast includes Chris Pratt like Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana like Gamora, Dave Bautista like Drax, Karen Gillan like Nebula, Sean Gunn as Kraglin/Rocket on set, Afternoon Clementeff like mantis, Bradley Cooper such as Rocket, and Vin Diesel like Groot. There are also new additions to the cast Will Poult such as Adam Warlock e Chukwudi Iwuji such as the High Evolutionary as well as Daniela Melchior, Nico SantoAND Borat next movie‘S Maria Bakalova like Cosmo the space dog.

I also want to point out that I enjoyed Adam Warlock’s introduction to the MCU and Will Poulter was a perfect choice for that role! I also enjoyed his story arc and how this movie created his possible future in the MCU.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is a cinematic masterpiece that will make you laugh, cry and cheer all at once. It’s a jaw-dropping and breathtaking cinematic experience, Gunn has proven once again that he is one of the most talented and visionary filmmakers working today, and this film is a testament to his incredible storytelling skills and creativity.
