As it turns out, one of the original top 26 singers had to withdraw from the competition, so the show went to the first alternate judges: paige ann. She may have been kicked out, but she’s making sure to make the most of her return. She impresses with her rendition of “Wrecking Ball” from Miley Cyrus. Katy admits she doesn’t like to be wrong, but Paige’s performance finish was ‘super professional’. She adds, “You belong here.”
Luke states that sometimes it’s just luck in show business and commends Paige for seizing this moment. “It was absolutely perfect. You did it,” Lionel says.

She thinks “she’s going to be a star with or without us.” Luke calls this performance Michael’s “defining moment”.
Dawson Wayne perform “imitator” of billie eilishand it’s different than what you’ve done in the past. Luke takes it and says he prefers Dawson’s voice in that “soft and sensitive” corner. Lionel says choosing the song was a “risk” and asks fans to vote because Dawson is “amazing”.
Hannah Nicolasen There’s one more reason to celebrate: she’s engaged! The former volleyball player does a beautiful version of “Glitter In The Air” from Rose. Despite being ill, Hannah tackles acting. Lionel congratulates her on battling the malaise. Luke adds that he doesn’t think anyone has “shown more growth” than Hannah.
Megan Daniella celebrates his 21st birthday in Hawaii. She dominates the stage with her rendition of “The Chain” from Fleetwood Mac. Katy notes that everything “comes away so easily” with Megan, saying her voice “stands out from so many other contestants tonight.”
Malik heard changes things up with her rendition of “Ain’t It Fun” from paramore. Luke declares the performance to be Malik’s best performance “by far”. Lionel commends that Malik is “on fire.” Katy admits Malik is “getting a bit of an underdog” and “could” win the competition.
olive alone once again showcases her incredible voice with her rendition of “Motions” by Mariah Carey. Lionel tells Olivia that he definitely has a “career” in music. Luke says Olivia is “a few steps above a lot of people in this competition.

hard colin He looks like a full-fledged heartthrob without the hat! During her time with Noah, she says he reminds her of him being her father. billy ray ciro. Final top 26 performance comes from nutsa. He impresses with his rendition of “Paris (Ooh La La)” by Grace Potter and the nocturnes. Lionel tells Nutsa that she is “so gorgeous to look at”. Katy advises Nutsa to “flip the script” next time with her performance.
