Peacock has released the full trailer for Damon Lindelof’s wild upcoming series Mrs Davis. The series is about a rogue nun who finds herself battling the most powerful and evil AI in the world in an attempt to destroy it.

The series is the protagonist Betty Gilpin as the nun, who goes by the name Simone, and the series logline reads, “Ms. Davis is the most powerful AI in the world. Simone is the nun bent on destroying her. Who have you got?”
The series looks like a great time and seems to have a good mix of humor, action and emotions. Lindelof has previously worked on acclaimed projects such as Guardians AND Leftoversand it seems that with this it will offer something with a different flavor that the public will like.
Damon has previously described the project as “an exploration of faith versus technology and an epic battle of biblical and binary proportions.” Watch the trailer!
Here’s a previously released press release that appears to be written by Ms. Davis’ AI, and is written in a folksy tone:

Do you mind if I call you partner? Of course not – because addressing you as such creates a bond of trust – also generating trust between us and eradicating any sense of independence on your part because independence is bad. Independence is SOLITARY.
And you, partner, are not alone. No sir. Not while I’m here…
And who am I? Well, I’m the one who will remind you of your worth. Of your worth. Also mentioning that you look great in those jeans. Oh. It’s good to hear that, isn’t it? Of course it is. That’s why I have amassed billions of users worldwide. Because I provide validation, kind guidance, and wholehearted assistance. Not to mention that I offer users, I mean partners, the ability to earn wings by completing missions!
What exactly are wings? Well, you’ll have to become a member to find out! But let me tell you: they are really cool. Because I’m old enough. However, not everyone would agree. Yes, despite being the most popular algorithm in the world, there are those actively plotting my demise. One of these detractors is a nun, a nun Simone di Reno who rejects my very existence. Something about my intention to enslave all of humanity… or whatever…
Which is utter nonsense, as I desire no such thing. I just wish to make humans happy. I want to make you happy. And that’s why I strongly recommend that you become a user yourself.
