The Fairmont Century Plaza in California once again hosted the Screen Actors Guild of America Awards Ceremony, now in its 29th year. The gala, known as SAG, honors the best films and series in the eyes of the actors themselves.

In the feature section there is a clear winner. ‘Everything at the Same Time Everywhere’ sweeps by managing to win in four of the six film categories. The only two awards that Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert’s film did not win were those awarded in the two categories in which it was not nominated: Best Actor, which was won by Brendan Fraser for ‘The Whale’; and Best Stuntman, won by Tom Cruise and his “Top Gun: Maverick” team.
The triumph of “All at once everywhere” brings with it a great feat and an affirmation of Asian cinema that screams its presence: Michelle Yeoh and Ke Huy Quan became the first Asian actresses to win a union awardBest Actress and Best Supporting Actor, respectively. Furthermore, with this “All at once everywhere” gala she manages to reconfirm herself as one of the big favorites for the next Oscars.
As for the series, the awards were more distributed. Only “The White Lotus” manages to obtain more than one statuetteby Jennifer Coolidge, with her flawless performance as Tanya, and with the best cast in a drama series.

As for the comedy series “The Dropout: The Rise and Fall of Elizabeth Holmes” caps off its first season. While Jean Smart and Jeremy Allen White win Outstanding Lead Actress/Actor in a Comedy Series for ‘Hacks’ and ‘The Bear’.
