HBO edits and replaces ‘The Last of Us’ chapter six due to production error – HBO (Courtesy)
As small as they may seem, mistakes in a production are very common, it’s just that HBO has had the misfortune that some of their own have been the most famous. Like the glass of coffee moment in ‘Game of Thrones’ and more recently the appearance of the recording team in the sixth chapter of ‘The Last of Us’, which had to be completely changed and replaced by the platform.
In info from Naughty Dog Central, via his Twitter account (via The Direct), HBO edited episode 6 of ‘The Last of Us’. The chapter is called “Kin”, which was quickly taken over by the followers of the series with Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, who had a glitch around the 12 minute mark, where the entire recording team could be seen.
It was just as Joel and Ellie were about to cross the snow bridge when the production team appeared on the scene. Although it was a little error which doesn’t impact the storyline of the HBO series, but some followers reported that noticing it took them completely out of the immersion everyone in ‘The Last of Us’.

There are currently no statements from the platform, but HBO has already fixed the bug since ‘The Last of Us’, and you can verify this by going to the platform, and play the sixth installment of the program. But that’s not all, because they also corrected a detail that few had noticed in the same episode, and it concerns the moment in which Ellie meets Shimmer, her horse.

HBO fixes ‘The Last of Us’ bugs
One mistake that almost went unnoticed in the sixth chapter of ‘The Last of Us’, is the moment when Ellie meets Shimmer, and only for a moment can you see the hand of the operator who was helping to hold the animal in his place, something that often happens when there is a creature in the scene. With this, HBO has eliminated the two errors of which there is evidence.

On social media, “The Last of Us” accounts were quickly filled with sarcastic comments about these little bugs, which, in the end, wasn’t a big deal. Since many fans got to watch the episode without realizing these little details, that doesn’t hinder the experience at all.
This Sunday, February 26, the seventh chapter of “The Last of Us” debuts, which will arrive through the HBO channel and the HBO Max platform. The story will be the adaptation of “Left Behind”, a downloadable content in which Ellie spends a afternoon with Riley at a mall.
