Stephen Kingclassic film adaptation of Cujo is getting a 4K Ultra HD released thanks to Kino Lorber. The company is teasing a “brand new Dolby Vision HDR master,” which will be awesome. It will be a fun movie to watch again.
I hadn’t watched this movie in a while, but the first time I saw it, it had a lasting effect on me. I saw this as a kid and was scared of dogs for years because of this movie. It really messed me up!
The film directed by Lewis Teague centers on a killer dog, “man’s best friend turns into his worst enemy. When sweet Saint Bernard Cujo is bitten by a bat, he starts acting strange and becomes very aggressive. As Cujo transforms into a dangerous beast, he goes on a rampage in a small town. Stay at home mom Donna (DeWallace) is caught in Cujo’s crosshairs during a fateful errand with his son, Tad (Danny Pintauro). Stuck in their toy car, Donna and Tad have a frightening showdown with the crazed animal.
