While we wait for the first trailer to come out Fast X on February 10, Universal Pictures released The fast and the furious “Legacy Trailer”. The trailer kicks into high gear and travels down memory lane as it recaps the movie that started it all, the one that started this crazy franchise!
It’s so crazy to remember how this franchise started and see how over the years it has evolved into complete nonsense! Don’t get me wrong, I love this franchise and the reason I love it is because it’s ridiculous.
In that first film: Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) enjoys the adrenaline rush of street car racing and his fans treat him like a rock star. After a heated encounter with the ruthless Johnny Tran, Dom decides to take Brian (Paul Walker), a newcomer to road racing, under his wing. Dom’s sister Mia also sees something she likes in Brian. Trouble is, neither of them realizes he’s an undercover cop, and Dominic and his rival Johnny Tran are both prime suspects in a case involving dirty money and the hijacking of a big rig.
Louis Letterier he is directing Fast Xhaving replaced Justin Lin after jumping out of the project. The screenplay of the film came from Lin e Dan MazeauAnd while we don’t have any plot details to share about the 10th film, we know for a fact that it’s going to offer insane and ridiculous action!
The cast of the film also includes Michelle Rodriguez, Tirese Gibson, Jason Momoa, Charlize Theron, Brie Larson, Alan Ritchson, Emanuel Natalie, Michael Rocker, Jordan Brewster, Daniela Melchior, Ludacri, Scott Eastwood, Rita Moreno, AND Cardi B. This too is rumored Gal Gadot will appear in the film, but this is yet to be confirmed.
Fast X will hit theaters May 19, 2023.
