A new trailer and poster for the comedy has been released A little white liewith an all-star cast that includes Michael Shannon, Kate Hudson, Zach Braff, Kate Linder, Aja Naomi Kingmore Da’Vine Joy Randolph AND Don Johnson. This is the writer and director’s second feature film Michael Maren (Brief history of decay), who adapted the screenplay from a novel called Shriver.

Here is the synopsis:
Shriver (Michael Shannon), a hapless New York City handyman who has never read a book in his life, is mistaken for a famous writer who has been in hiding for over 20 years. With nothing to lose, he accepts an invitation to attend a college literature festival and finds himself surrounded by adoring fans and an English teacher (Kate Hudson) who captures his heart. Shriver must do everything possible to tempt love in this fish out of water comedy.
It looks like a fun movie with a lot of great actors and a fun storyline. Check out the trailer and movie poster below and watch A little white lie in select US theaters and on VOD March 3.
