A new banner has been released for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. It’s similar to the first poster that was released, but because it’s a banner, they were able to put a lot more Spider-People into the art, like an epic amount!
Miles Morales is the main focus of the poster, and while there are some familiar characters that stand out, there are so many more that I couldn’t even name. There is Spider-Gwen, Spider-Woman, 2099, Spider-Punk, Ben Reilly the Scarlet Spider, Ghost-Spider, Spider-Punk, Spider-Man India and others. How many can you name!?
There will be so many versions of Spider-Man in the movie. It was previously reported that the film includes 240 characters and will take place in six different universes. The poster came with the caption: “How many Spider-People can we fit in one movie?”
The film follows Miles Morales as the friendly Brooklyn neighborhood Spider-Man, “immersed in the multiverse where he joins forces with Gwen Stacy and a new team of Spider-folk to take on a villain more powerful than anything they’ve ever encountered.” .
After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, “the friendly Brooklyn neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he meets a team of Spider-People charged with protecting his very existence. But when the heroes clash over how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.
The cast includes Shameik Moore like miles; Oscar Isaac as Miguel O’Hara aka Spider-Man 2099; Hailee Steinfeld like Gwen, Brian Tiree Henry as Miles’ father, Jefferson Davis; Luna Lauren Velez as Miles’ mom, Rio Morales; Issa Rae as Jessica Drew, aka Spider-Woman; Jorma Taccone as Vulture; Rachel Dratch; Shea Whigham; Greta Lee;Jason Schwartzmann like Stain; And Daniel Kaluya as Hobart “Hobie” Brown aka Spider-Punk.
The film is directed and produced by Justin K Thompson, Joaquim Dos SantosAnd Kemp Powers. Avi Arad, Amy Pascal, Phil Lord, Chris Miller And Christine Steinberg they are also producing. Lord and Miller will also be credited as screenwriters on the film, along with David Callaham.
