The concrete jungle has a new predator. Ghostface moves to New York with the survivors of the last installment of “Scream” in “Scream VI”, which is launched a new trailer. The killer of the slasher saga promises to be “very different” from those of the previous films. For starters, he’s started to find the point in firearms.
In ‘Scream VI’ we will once again follow the adventures of Jenna Ortega, Melissa Barrera, Jasmin Savoy Brown and Mason Gooding, protagonists of the fifth film of the horror saga. The four leave Woodsboro to move on and start a new stage in college., but the phantom masked killer is back to haunt them. In a recent interview, Melissa Barrera says that the characters will have passed practically the same time that has passed between one film and another: “The trauma is still very fresh” assures. Her character Tara keeps tabs on her sister Sam (Ortega), who is starting to get tired of how overprotective her older sister has become.
Gale and Kirby
Together with the four protagonists we will see Courteney Cox as the legendary Gale Weathers, and Hayden Panettiere in his great return as Kirby. We will also have new faces in the cast, highlighting Samara Weaving, Dermot Mulroney and Tony Revolori.
‘Scream VI’ will be released in theaters on March 10th and has the same team as the fifth episode behind the scenes: Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett return to act as directors and James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick have once again been attached to write the screenplay.
