The film will be available in Japanese with English subtitles and dubbed in English. Tickets are available now in North America. Here is the official synopsis of the film:
A long-standing conspiracy is swirling over a mysterious power wielded by the queen in Raja, a small town west of Tempest. When a slime evolved into a Demon Lord named Rimuru Tempest meets Hiiro, a survivor of the Ogre race, an incredible adventure begins full of new characters. The power of bonds will be tested!
That time I was reincarnated as a slime is based on the light novel series written by Fuse and illustrated by Mitz Vah. The series follows Mikami Satoru, an average 37-year-old who dies and is reincarnated as a slime. Although she starts out as weak as possible, she is able to combine her two special abilities “Predator” and “Great Sage” to gain both friend and foe alike like the new Rimuru Tempest.
