Emily Ratajkowski has shared a series of bikini photos on Instagram, including a picture of herself kissing French film director Romain Gavras on a yacht.
The 35-year-old model posted the images on Friday, showing her wearing a leopard print two-piece and a striped bikini while spending time at sea and on the beach with her five-year-old son, Sylvester.
Among the selection of photographs was a shot of Ratajkowski passionately kissing Gavras, who previously dated British pop singer Dua Lipa. Ratajkowski and Gavras were first linked in November when they were spotted kissing in New York City, and they have since made their relationship official on social media.
The romance marks the longest relationship for the iNAMORATA swimwear founder since her 2022 divorce from movie producer Sebastian Bear-McClard. Ratajkowski launched her swimwear brand in 2017 after gaining international notice as a fashion model and actress, appearing in music videos, feature films and global magazine covers.
Seven-Figure Book Deal and New Writing
The social media upload follows news that Ratajkowski has signed a seven-figure book deal detailing her sex life as a single mother. According to Deadline, the upcoming book is titled Mother F*cker and is billed as "an examination of modern female identity through the story of the author’s own efforts as a newly single mother dating in New York City."
The new project follows her 2021 essay collection My Body, which became a New York Times bestseller exploring feminism, power and sexuality. Ratajkowski, who shares Sylvester with her former husband Bear-McClard, has frequently written and spoken publicly about navigating single parenthood, personal autonomy and high-profile relationships in the public eye.
Ratajkowski recently declared that she moved from "Madonna" to "w***e" when she began "compulsively dating" following her divorce. After her separation from 45-year-old Bear-McClard in 2022, she was linked to actor Brad Pitt and had on-and-off flings with DJ Orazio Rispo, as well as comedian Pete Davidson and entertainer Eric Andre.
In March 2023, Ratajkowski was photographed kissing singer Harry Styles in Tokyo. The public encounter generated widespread attention after reports surfaced that his former partner, director Olivia Wilde, viewed the incident as a "betrayal," according to a Daily Mail source.
Her latest Instagram post also featured a photograph from a girls' dinner outing with supermodel Irina Shayk and model Alex Consani, alongside pictures of her son playing in the sand.
Marriage Collapse and Personal Reflection
Ratajkowski opened up about the end of her marriage in an essay written for The Cut, offering a detailed timeline of the breakup. "In a time period that felt both instant and excruciatingly slow, my marriage collapsed," she wrote. "Six months after my son was born, my husband and I stopped having sex. Less than a year later, we separated."
The couple split in 2022 just one year after welcoming their son, amid widespread speculation concerning Bear-McClard's fidelity. Following the public announcement, a source cited by Page Six alleged that Bear-McClard "cheated. He’s a serial cheater. It’s gross. He’s a dog." Ratajkowski later fueled the speculation by liking a social media post that read, "can’t believe that little b*** cheated on emrata."
In her essay, Ratajkowski reflected on the emotional toll of public pity following her divorce. "I hated the condescending way people looked at me in the wake of my breakup," she wrote, describing their "furrowed brows" and sympathetic expressions. She added: "I couldn’t stand my pathetic reflection in their eyes. They saw me as someone who was unwanted, who had been left. A reject with the burden of a needy, hungry, two-foot-tall sidekick."
